“AN EFFORT TO SUSTAIN THE HERITAGE OF MARTYRS”

Indian history is full of the heroic acts of martyrs. Today we feel proud to be a citizen of the independent India. But do we really know about the people who brought about this independence? Today’s scenario is very unenergetic when we see our great Indian revolutionists in the form of cartoon characters, where Bhagat Singh is seen in the form of Spiderman and others are also being made fun off. So in this situation whom should our children follow as their ideals.
We need to tell our children that we have achieved freedom only after sacrificing lacks of lives, where so many mothers sacrificed their son’s lives and wives lost their husbands. This cannot be achieved so easily, for this we need a continuous revolution of thought, which will bring mental freedom and positive attitude for our nation. We need to introduce our children to the real life styles of the martyrs, otherwise one day our idols and martyrs will remain in the form of cartoon characters. Indian Idols, icons and freedom fighters shall always remain as a guideline for us.

It is the duty of every citizen of the country to have a complete knowledge of our great patriotic personalities, their works, and the freedom movements. The students through the school textbooks achieve this knowledge, which is not enough.

The Suryoday Trust has therefore undertaken a project under the title of “Suryoday Vandemataram National Foundation” in order to appreciate the dedication of our valiant heroes by paying a glowing tribute to them, and making them live in our hearts.

Under the guidance of Shri Bhaiyyu Ji Maharaj, an information and research study of the life style of Indian Martyrs and freedom fighters that dedicated and devoted their lives to their Motherland will be carried out. This will also be an ideal example for our children to know and learn about the graceful life history of our martyrs. The Trust has started this project at Popatkhed, near Akot Taluka in Akola district of Mahrashtra. Until now the Trust has built a community hall and temple of Mother India (Bharat Mata Mandir) which the government of Maharashtra has also recognized as a tourist centre.

Simultaneously, in order to benefit tribal students meet employment and education requirements and apprentice centre has been established. An art gallery and museum are also being constructed.

Keeping this view in mind, correct perception towards social justice, constitutional knowledge law and order, telecommunication, human rights, health, history, revolution in education, agriculture, spiritual practice and employment know-how Centres will also be established in the future.

SURYODAY BHARAT MATA MANDIR EVAM KARGIL SMARAK

It is indeed a privilege to be born in India, the land of holy Bharat Mata. Param Pujnya Shri Bhaiyyu Ji Maharaj inspired by the “Bharat Mata Mandir” Temple at Sukhliya in Indore, a Temple dedicated to the motherland as the name suggests. Traditionally the country has been worshipped as “Mother India”.

Gurudev’s vision is to make Indians self-respecting and proud of being Indians.
The temple built at Sukhliya Indore is a vision come true in sculpture and bold manifestation of the vast spectrum in Indian history. Bharat Mata Temple dedicated to Mother India and a memorial of martyrs called Kargil Smarak are both a vision of Shri Bhaiyyu Ji Maharaj.

The Temple stands for spiritual and cultural glory, national harmony, unity, integrity and our traditional values. It inspires a sense of pride, and dedication to the Indians to ruminate our glorious cultural heritage.

The Temple has a beautifully sculpted statue of “Bharat Mata” and is a symbol of spiritual, cultural, social, political, economic and geographical unity in the country despite our diversity. It also has a memorial to honour martyrs who died in Kargil, Kashmir while defending the security of the country. It is also a symbol to remind people to rise in defense of Mother India when needed.

SURYODAY JIJAMATA POOJAN ABHIJAN

One of the most important things needed by a nation to progress is to identify the heroes and the pivotal figures in the history of the nation, celebrate and understand their teachings and significance. This is exactly the reason why P.P. Shri Bhaiyyu Ji Maharaj has started the Jijamata Poojan Abhiyan.

Women have attained a very important and a highly crucial role in society today. However in a country like India it is essential that womenfolk from the rural areas be integrated into mainstream society. This is the primary reason behind the Jijamata Pooja Abhiyan.
The Jijamata Pooja Abhiyan celebrates and honours the spirit of this truly inspiring figure. The Abhiyan commemorates the important role that Jijamata has had on the women in India. The Jijamata Pooja Abhiyan has lent a new dimension to the efforts, which are being made for the wholesome emancipation of women in Indian society.

The Jijamata Poojan Abhiyan has also undertaken the construction of 21 feet high statue of legendary king Sambhaji Raje. This spectacular statue of Sambhaji Raje will be shortly inaugurated at Tuljapur. Sambhaji Raje was the epitome of bravery, heroism and dauntless courage and this statue is sure to inspire a lot of people to follow the same path as the legendary warrior king.
