In March 2005, Shri Bhaiyyu Ji Maharaj was honoured with the title of “Professor Emeritus” of the MIT Government School of Pune in the State of Maharashtra.

He was requested and invited by the Chairman and Dean to commit himself and provide two hours a year to lecture the young aspirants and to guide them on their path of growth in the world of government.

The message of the Chairman to "Bhaiyyu Dada" was: "Two hours of enlightenment can change their perception of occupying seats of power and change the way our nation is governed tomorrow".

So great has been Bhaiyyu Dada’s contribution to spiritualism, socialism, human happiness and enlightenment, and so lofty his spiritual eminence that he has been justly esteemed as a compassionate Saint and an energetic integrated Yogi.
